TEMPEH SAUSAGE OR PATTIES

Ingredients :
500 g tempeh, grated
3 tbsp vegetable oil with a small amount of sesame oil
1 tsp sage
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp white flour

Instructions :
1.Mix 2 tbsp oil with  all other ingredients. Use balance of oil to brush onto unbaked tempeh patties
2. Make 1 inch balls, place on oiled baking sheet and flatten balls ( use spatula or fork) to ½ inch thickness
3. Brush with remaining oil, then bake in 400  degree F for 5 minutes or until golden brown on bottom side, flip over patties and bake for another 5 minutes.


SWEET MARINATED TEMPEH


Ingredients :
1 onion,
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp Coriander powder
2 tbsp Brown sugar
1 tsp of Vinegar or Lemon Juice
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 cups of water

Instructions :
Mix everything in a blender
Boil the blended spices with 2 cups of water
Add sliced tempeh and simmer for 30 minutes
Pan fry or grill the tempeh



FRIED TEMPEH

Ingredients:
2 cloves of Garlic, salt as desired and water to marinate the tempeh slices
Instructions:
Mix crushed garlic, salt and water.
Marinate the tempeh slices for about 10 minutes
Deep fry or pan fry until crispy and golden brown.
